Having the right scaffolding set up from day one makes a real difference to how smoothly your project runs.
At Northland Scaffolding, we use the Layher Allround system — widely regarded as the global benchmark for modular scaffolding, and a significant step up from the conventional tube-and-fitting systems many other companies still rely on. The Layher system's wedge-lock connector technology means faster setup and teardown, less time on your site, and a structure that's engineered to handle whatever the job demands.
Here's are some of the features we can include on our new build scaffolds:
Stair access towers
Safe, easy movement between levels for your tradespeople, without the hassle and risk of ladder-only access. A proper set of stairs on site just makes everyone's day easier.
1.09m wide working decks
wider than many competing systems, giving tradespeople a comfortable, stable platform with plenty of room to work safely at height.
Roof edge protection rails
a must-have on any new build, keeping workers protected at the roofline where the risk of a fall is highest.
Kickboards
fitted along the edges of working decks to stop tools and materials from dropping to ground level, protecting anyone working or moving below.
Inside cantilever brackets
allow us to scaffold tight to the building and gives us some flexibility when setting up the working deck levels allowing for deck levels to step up or down as required.
Ladder access with hatch decks
Our hatch deck system provides a tidy, lockable, safe access solution that keeps the scaffold clear and easy to move through.
